Global Engineering Experience

Parallax is owned and operated by Chris Kent-Rodgman, P.Eng. Starting a career in the Saskatchewan Potash industry managing capital projects and as a process engineer for surface milling, Chris then spent the next 10 years designing, installing and commissioning Mine Hoists for one of the largest OEM hoisting companies in the world. This experience has taken him through multiple continents and across many borders. Throughout a diverse career he has also had the opportunity to manage an Electro-Mechanical business specializing in electric motor repair and rewinding, along with custom machining capabilities. Custom fabrication became a passion, and this business was born from the genuine interest for the search of unique situations that require unique solutions.
