Counter Balanced Lifting Device

This customer had the requirement to remove a slip ring assembly from a large synchronous motor driving a mine hoist. Traditionally this is removed by a nearly complete motor disassembly, but our solution allows this to take place with only the removal of the rear panels. The device can be installed on the back of the slip ring assembly, and lifted out with the local indoor overhead crane. The cup attachment can rotate to facilitate ease of bolt alignments, and the counterweight is adjustable for fine tuning the balance.
